RETURNS & REFUND POLICY ikarus.organics — Effective 2026
01 — Overview
We want you to be satisfied with every Ikarus.Organics purchase. This policy outlines your rights and our obligations regarding returns, refunds and exchanges. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.
By placing an order with Ikarus.Organics you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
02 — Change of Mind Returns
We accept change of mind returns under the following conditions:
Timeframe: Request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery confirmation.
Product condition: Unopened and unused only. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns of opened or used products under any circumstances.
Refund type: Store credit only. Store credit is valid for 12 months from date of issue and applies to all products on ikarusorganics.com.au.
Return shipping: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked shipping service as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
Original shipping: Original shipping costs are non-refundable on change of mind returns.
Please note: Products that have been opened, used or are not in their original sealed condition are not eligible for return under any circumstances due to the hygiene nature of cosmetic products.
03 — Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect we will make it right.
Timeframe: Must be reported within 14 days of delivery confirmation.
Proof required: Clear photographic evidence of the damage, fault or incorrect item must be provided at time of claim. Submit to ikarusorganics@gmail.com with your order number.
Resolution options: At your choice — full refund to original payment method, replacement product, or store credit.
Return shipping: Ikarus.Organics covers all return shipping costs for faulty, damaged or incorrect orders.
Processing time: Refunds processed within 5–7 business days of claim approval. Replacement orders dispatched within 3–5 business days.
Please note: Refunds to original payment method apply to faulty, damaged or incorrect orders only. All other approved returns receive store credit exclusively.
04 — How To Submit A Return Request
Step 1: Email ikarusorganics@gmail.com with subject line "Return Request — [Your Order Number]"
Step 2: Include your order number, reason for return and photographic evidence if applicable.
Step 3: We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions and a return authorisation number.
Step 4: Ship the product back with your return authorisation number clearly marked on the outer packaging.
Step 5: Once received and inspected we will process your store credit or refund within 5–7 business days.
Please note: Do not return products without a return authorisation number. Unauthorised returns will not be processed and cannot be returned to sender.
05 — International Orders
Ikarus.Organics ships worldwide via Sendle to all countries that can receive shipments from Australia and are not subject to active conflict or trade restrictions.
Return eligibility: International customers are eligible for the same return and refund rights as Australian customers.
Return shipping: International return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility for change of mind returns. Ikarus.Organics covers return shipping for faulty or damaged orders.
Customs and duties: Import duties, taxes and customs fees are non-refundable. These are the customer's responsibility and are not included in our refund calculations.
Shipping restrictions: We do not ship to countries currently in conflict or those unable to receive international parcels from Australia via Sendle. If your country becomes restricted after your order is placed we will issue a full refund.
06 — Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances:
— Any product that has been opened, used or is not in its original sealed condition. — Return requests submitted beyond 14 days of delivery confirmation. — Products damaged through misuse, improper storage or failure to follow usage instructions. — Products returned without a valid return authorisation number. — Store credit and gift cards — non-refundable and non-transferable.
07 — Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If you are an Australian customer you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This policy operates in addition to and does not limit your statutory rights.
